How You Receive Your Refunds

Riverland uses BankMobile Disbursements to deliver financial aid refunds and other payments to students. If your financial aid exceeds your tuition and fees, your refund will be sent through BankMobile.

When you first register for classes, you will receive instructions by email or mail to set up your BankMobile refund preference. This step is required to ensure you receive your funds without delay.

Follow these steps to set up your refund preference:

  1. Watch for your BankMobile personal code sent by email or mail after registration.
  2. Visit the refund selection site to create your profile.
  3. Choose how you want to receive your funds.

Refund Options

You can choose how to receive your refund through BankMobile:

  • Direct deposit to your existing bank account (typically 1–2 business days)
  • Deposit to a BankMobile account (same business day once processed)

Choosing your preference early helps you receive your funds as quickly as possible. :

When Will I Receive My Refund?

Financial aid refunds are typically processed after your aid is applied to your account. At Riverland, the first disbursement usually begins after the 11th day of the semester, with additional refunds processed weekly.
