Laura Beasley named Riverland Community College Director of Nursing

Laura Beasley has accepted the position of director of nursing at Riverland Community College. The director of nursing is responsible for providing leadership, direction and administrative support to the college’s associate degree nursing program. She replaces Riverland Nursing Director Nancy Genelin who is retiring at the end of the year.

Great Lakes Student Emergency Fund grants $39,700 to Riverland to help remove students’ economic barriers and allow those students to finish college

Riverland Community College receives additional resources through a $39,700 grant to help low-income students weather financial emergencies. 51³Ô¹Ï can apply for small grants to help cover expenses just beyond their means, which allows them to quickly return focus to their academic pursuits.
